“ Food was awesome and the wait staff is so nice 27 dollars is not bad for all you can eat seafood exit 96 north side of interstate 20 in Lake Mississippi come by open Fri and sat from 430 to 715 stop takeing orders highly recommended this place ”

“ First things first, upon entering the door my wife and I were warmly greeted and immediately led to a hand sanitizing station. In these times it was a welcome sight to see them taking safety seriously. Now on to the food. My wife and I partook in the seafood buffet which was very good in my opinion. The fried catfish (whole and strips) was very fresh as were the fried shrimp. The buffet also featured fried frog legs, boiled shrimp (hot and cold), baked fish, chicken tenders and a wide assortment of sides and other dishes that I was not able to try before I reached my personal limits. Our server was very nice and kept up stocked with drinks, condiments as well as conversation. Overall the food was good and there was a nice variety. The restaurant itself was clean and inviting and safety measures were in place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I truly enjoyed our outing at The Back Forty restaurant and will definitely be going back in the future. ”

“ All I can say is if you pass this place, you're missing out! We got there right at opening, so our food was fresh and hot. THE BEST GUMBO I have had since my mawmaw passed away. The fish is amazing!! Everything is hand breaded and doesn't have a frozen taste. All the employees were super friendly. Gave us the family vibe. The buffet is about 25 a person with drink and tax, but well worth it. Thank you from Oklahoma and if we're ever back this way we will not pass. ”
